Biography

A business-driven professional with significant technology leadership experience and proven track record of success at senior level.

Duncan’s combined 25 years of IT practice has spanned multiple business sectors including Professional Services, Forex and money markets, Information Systems as well as at a leading software consultancy, including roles as Equity Partner, IT Director, Product Manager, Project/Programme Manager & Business Liaison Manager.

He brings strong Technology operational leadership and strategic-level project & programme management to an organisation at local, multi-site & international level. He has led digital transformation initiatives across EMEA, delivered insourced and outsourced services, and led the international (IT) merger between two leading law firms.

He has substantial stakeholder management, team building and people development skills, and is used to working at Board and country head level, gaining and presenting business requirements & justifications. Has studied leadership at Harvard, and is one of the first non-lawyer equity partners in the sector.

With a passion for the business advantages that innovative IT can bring he is seasoned in delivering technology roadmaps, business-aligned architecture strategy definitions, technology upgrades and new technology deployment initiatives. He is also adept at organising service aligned support structures within leading-edge environments. Pragmatic, good at influencing people at all levels. PRINCE2 Practitioner, ITIL Foundation accredited.
