Tim has worked in the IT sector for the past 30 years, most recently in the Legal industry for the past 15 years. He has worked for both Global and National firms providing expertise in IT technical management, IT Director and CIO roles delivering strategic planning and IT transformation programmes, IT services, & project management.
Prior to this Tim has worked in the private banking and financial services sectors as well as the automotive industry in Europe, the USA and the Far East at IT manager and IT Director level.
Tim’s current role at Stone King is to ensure that the IT team delivers a world class IT service to the firm along with working at Board level with the Partnership to both understand and provide strategic direction for the firm’s continued growth from a revenue and profitability perspective.
Tim has expertise in IT strategy, IT management, project and programme management, customer relationship management software, finance practise and matter management systems, document management, ITIL and has also implemented a number of cloud based systems & services.
Replaced ageing IT infrastructure across UK & Europe at KPRS with cloud based solution enabling a speedy migration to new Microsoft server and desktop systems resulting in both an increase in productivity internally as well as external access to IT systems, reducing operational costs by 20%
Delivered a major transformation programme at Marks & Clerk which encompassed the delivery of a new document management system – iManage worksite, a CRM solution – Lexis Nexis InterAction and a full technology refresh covering server and desktop virtualisation, network redesign and datacentre co-location. Reduced operating cost by c£400,000 annually.
